About Hotel Les Trois Vallees

Run by the Gorini family since 1979, Les Trois Vallées is a cosy, friendly hotel with an enviable reputation for high standards of comfort and service - so we can assure you that you and your family will be looked after well.

The hotel has wonderful views over the slopes and mountains and it couldn't be easier to begin your skiing day as the slopes are right on your doorstep. The boutique style of this hotel makes it a great choice for couples and small families or groups of friends.

There's no better way to spend your holiday then enjoying great meals and socialising over drinks with the mountains as your background. Inspired by the Olympic Games, the hotels restaurant 'L'Olympiski' invites you to try traditional French cuisine, mountain specialities and fresh home-made desserts six nights a week. You'll also have access to the bar & lounge area where you can relax with a variety of snacks, wines and cocktail hour. 

  • A classic continental breakfast buffet and hot options is served between 7:30 - 10am. 
  • Dinner is three courses with a choice of two starters, two choices of main course and then to finish a choice of cheeses or dessert.

Please note, the restaurant is closed on Wednesday evenings, so dinner is only available for six nights of your stay - the perfect opportunity to eat out in resort and try some of the local cuisine.

Whether you're here on your own or part of a group, this hotel offers modern, spacious bedrooms that will meet your every need. Each room is made with wood from old alpine farms creating a desirable and traditional mountain atmosphere. 

Double 'Cocoon' Rooms are around 14 to 16m² sleeping two with twin or double beds. These rooms have a piste view and a shower in the en-suite. These rooms are also available for sole occupancy on request, please give our Reservations agents a call to book.

Double 'Cocoon' Veranda Rooms are around 16 to 21m² sleeping two with twin or double beds, a seating area and a shower in the en-suite. These rooms are also available for sole occupancy on request, please give our Reservations agents a call to book.

Family Quad Rooms are around 26m² sleeping up to four people. These rooms have a double bed, and bunk beds in a separate corner. These rooms have a bath with shower head attachment and a separate WC. 

Superior Triple Rooms are around 23m² sleeping three people. This room has one double bed and a single bed (side by side). The en-suite has a bath with shower head attachment and a separate WC.

Privilege Suites are around 29-33m² sleeping two. These rooms have a bedroom with double bed and a sofa bed in the lounge area. The en-suite has a jacuzzi bathtub, shower and separate WC. Then either a sauna or hammam (please specify your preference when booking). Triple Privilege Suites are available on request, please give our Reservations team a call to book.

Discover Val Thorens

At an altitude of 2,300m, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe and as part of the huge Three Valleys area, it is undoubtedly one of the very best. The resort has been designed to offer doorstep skiing from practically wherever you stay and has a village feel around a compact centre - where car access is restricted. The height of the resort means skiing in Val Thorens consists of long hours of sunshine, an unrivalled snow record and great skiing for all grades.

Things to do in Val Thorens

Tobogganing

The longest toboggan run in France can be found at the Cosmojet Toboggan run, accessible via the Péclet funitel. It takes about 45 minutes to run the roughly 6 kilometres to the bottom.

As well as the swimming pool and wellness facilities, the complex has a range of sports courts and a fitness area with body building facilities. There is also a soft play area for the children which includes giant trampolines, slides, rope bridges and a ball pit. Payable locally.

If you would prefer to experience the mountain by foot, there are plenty of paths to follow. The sentier de la Marine is a relatively easy walk of around 5km, starting at Chalet du Cosmojet you will be met with fantastic views across the snowy landscape.

Have you ever wanted to stay on the mountain after last lifts? Every Friday you can enjoy the Tête Ronde and Christine runs in Péclet sector until 6.30pm. It is free of charge for guests with a valid Val Thorens/ Orelle ski pass.

Take to new heights and have a go at the La Bee zip line at the top of the Moutiere chairlift. This adrenaline filled zip line is suitable for children over the age of 14. Height restrictions apply. Pay locally.

The Tyrolienne du Bouchet is the highest zipline in Europe giving you the chance to whizz through the incredible mountain scenery. Located at the top of the Bouchet chairlift. Pay locally.

Snake Gliss (sledge train to you and me) is where sledges are tied together, led by a professional instructor and whizzing down the 45 minute descent from the top of Funitel de Péclet. 

For a bit of evening entertainment head to the resorts bowling centre, where there are eight lanes for bowling, a pool table and a variety of games including a football table. 

Ride your own snowmobile, or with a passenger and follow your guide on a tour around the unspoilt winter landscapes around Val Thorens. Book and pay locally.
