Beginners skiing and snowboarding in La Clusaz

Beginners are catered for well in La Clusaz with a large variety of blue and green runs, perfect for new skiers to build their confidence. The nursery slopes are served by the Beauregard gondola and located just outside the village, leading to a number of gentle tree lined slopes to allow you to enjoy the views of the mountains.

Intermediate skiing and snowboarding in La Clusaz

The five interconnecting mountains in the La Clusaz allow a variety of slopes for the intermediate skier to enjoy. More confident skiers can tackle the difficult red runs on the Aiguille and savour the picturesque tree lined slopes. Alternatively, for those that are looking for a change of scenery, the Grand Bornand is just a quick bus ride away, which extends the ski area a further 90 km of pistes.

Advanced skiing and snowboarding in La Clusaz

Massif de la Balme is the perfect setting for a challenge. There are plenty of testing slopes in the Fernuy and Borderan ravines. On the L'Etale side, the "Le Tétras" black run is rarely groomed; it's wonderful when there's fresh snow, but you can test your skills on the moguls if there hasn't been a fresh blanket of snow in a while.

Popular with freeride skiers, the Balme mountain is also regarded as a snowboarder's paradise due to its powder stashes, large carving slopes, and abundance of natural hits among its varied terrain. In the Loup area, there is a snow park and fun zone for practising the basics of freestyle skiing or boarding. For the more daring, LCZ Park provides a variety of rails, boxes, and a big air bag.
