About Hotel Christiania

Hotel Christiania is located right in the centre of La Clusaz with beautiful views of the town and mountains. The ski lifts are opposite the hotel, making the location fantastic for your ski holiday. The hotel also benefits from having fantastic views across the Aravis mountains and the pretty church with a bell tower, which can be seen from most of the hotel rooms.

The hotel has a warm contemporary lounge area with a television, films and games to keep you entertained when you are not on the mountain. There is also a sauna in the property, so you can soothe your muscles after a day of exploring La Clusaz.

The cosy restaurant, decorated in a contemporary Savoyard style, is a popular bistro restaurant. Each evening, you can look forward to a menu which is both traditional and innovative, and changes over the year in order to respect the produce and its seasonality. The restaurant is also open during lunch, where you can enjoy Savoyard specialities including tartiflette or a fondue - this is not included within the package, but is a good choice if you are down in the resort during lunchtime.

  • To start the day, enjoy an extensive buffet breakfast with a large selection of juices, hot drinks, cereals, yoghurts, pastries, as well as a selection of meats and cheeses. 
  • Dinner will be served in the hotel's 'Le Bistro' restaurant, where you will be served three courses each evening. The menu is inspired by the seasonal produce available, and often combines traditional dishes with home comforts.
  • A children's menu is available in the restaurant.

Discover La Clusaz

La Clusaz, a picturesque Savoyard village located in the beautiful Aravis mountain range. The resort features a rustic centre with a church, shops and a variety of traditional restaurants serving regional specialities, as well as a number of bars to take advantage of the resort's welcoming ambience. With 210 kilometres of downhill skiing, beginners and intermediates can enjoy the green and blue runs, while experts can ski the abundant off-piste terrain.

Things to do in La Clusaz

Swap the skis for a sledge and ride down the three dedicated sledding runs, all varying in difficulty. Night sledding is also a possibility.

The local ice rink is in the centre of the village and open throughout the week. You can also try the so called 'Bumper Hurricane' which is essentially bumper cars on ice.

For the more adventurous, experience La Clusaz from the sky by going on a paragliding flight over the Aravis mountains. 

For a bit of evening entertainment head to the resorts bowling alley for a game or two, there is also an arcade with a number of simulators and a dart board.
