Our accommodations in Pas de la Casa
Discover Pas de la Casa
Known affectionately as ‘Pas’, the lively frontier town and mountain pass of Pas de la Casa – with direct links to Grau Roig - is in north-eastern Andorra and close to the French border so there’s a distinctly French ambience in this resort. It’s not only the highest of the Andorran villages, but the entire Pyrenees, with slopes as high as 2640m, and has a correspondingly good snow record!
Pas has a great selection of bars and restaurants on offer and something to cater for all tastes. The local Catalan cuisine is well worth trying, however being located right on the border with France, you'll find a lot of the food in Pas de la Casa is influenced by French Cuisine. Centrally located, El Marselles is a great choice for local specialities like fondue and raclette and is open for lunch and dinner. Or have a taste of home and visit the Olimpiades Inn which is located right on the slopes. Here, they serve full English breakfasts and traditional pub food and it's a great place to stop even if you just want a drink to refuel before hitting the slopes again.
If you're looking for a party, Pas is the place for you. Known across Andorra as the resort for it's nightlife and fab après scene there'll be plenty of opportunities for you and your group to have a boogey before bed. Many of the bars and clubs have events going on each night, from live music to quizzes and due to the low-tax, drink prices here are unbeatable. Head over to Underground Bar & Club where après ski starts from 4pm, often accompanied by drinks offers and live lounge sessions. Then finish often in Paddy's Irish Bar for a night you'll never remember and food you won't forget.
Europe's largest spa, Caldea Spa, is located in the capital city of Andorra La Vella and offers a fantastic range of relaxation and wellness facilities. Take a dip in the indoor pool, or sit back and relax in a jacuzzi or steam room - if you're really wanting a treat, why not book a massage or beauty treatment? Don't worry, if you'd prefer to stay in Pas, many of our hotel's on offer have spa facilities included with your stay.
If you're all about keeping it active during you winter sports holiday, Pas de la Casa also has a sports centre located in the centre of resort. Here you can participate in team sports, test your luck at a climbing wall, or learn some new skills through a martial arts class. There is also a free soft play area for children providing entertainment for the whole family.
Like our other resorts in Andorra, Pas is a shoppers paradise and receives a number of day trippers looking for a bargain. Due to it's location on the French-Andorran border, many visitors and French natives make the most of the duty-free and low tax goods, especially items like cigarettes, alcohol and perfume. We can guarantee whatever street you walk down will be populated with shops of many kinds, but the ideal areas to look out for if shopping is on your mind are Carrer de Sant Jordi, Avenida d’Encamp and Carrer Major. Here you'll find an array of perfume shops, jewellery shops, electronic and branded clothes shops such as Diesel and O'Neill. We'd also highly recommend visiting Andorra La Vella, the capital city, for more extensive shopping opportunities and great restaurants/bars if you'd prefer more options.
