Skiing in Lapland

Ylläs is a top choice for skiers and snowboarders looking for space, scenery, and variety. Beginners benefit from quiet, perfectly groomed slopes, small classes, and helpful English-speaking instructors. Intermediate skiers enjoy wide, confidence-boosting runs without lift queues, while snowboarders have access to a floodlit snow park with jumps, a super-pipe, and boarder-cross course.

Cross-country skiing is a standout in Ylläs, with 330 km of trails through stunning landscapes, including the protected beauty of Pallas-Ylläs National Park. With routes for all levels, 38 km of floodlit tracks, and plenty of cozy cafés and fire shelters along the way, Ylläs is a true paradise for Nordic skiing lovers.

Yllas

Saariselkä, deep in the Arctic north, offers a uniquely peaceful and scenic ski experience. Its small, uncrowded slopes are perfect for beginners and early intermediates, with reliable snow and friendly instructors. Snowboarders can enjoy freestyle parks and soft powder between the trees.
