Lapland holidays for friends and family groups
If you're planning an unforgettable winter escape with a group of friends or a large family, Lapland in Finland offers the ultimate mix of adventure, beauty, and shared experiences.
Set deep within the Arctic Circle, this snowy wonderland is more than just a holiday—it's a magical journey filled with breathtaking landscapes, unique Arctic activities, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Whether you're looking for thrills, tranquillity, or the chance to witness the spectacular Northern Lights, Lapland is the perfect destination for groups wanting to experience the magic of winter together.
- Shared adventure in a winter playground
Lapland is packed with exciting group-friendly activities like snowmobiling across frozen lakes, husky safaris through snow-covered forests, and reindeer sleigh rides that feel straight out of a fairy tale. These experiences are even more special when shared with your favourite people. - Skiing and snowboarding for all levels
With peaceful, uncrowded slopes and well-maintained resorts like Levi, Ylläs, and Ruka, Lapland offers excellent skiing and snowboarding opportunities. Whether your group includes beginners or seasoned skiers, there’s a slope for everyone—plus plenty of après-ski fun to enjoy together. - Chase the Northern Lights
One of the biggest draws of a Lapland holiday is the chance to see the Northern Lights. Staying in remote, dark-sky locations gives your group a better chance of witnessing this awe-inspiring natural phenomenon together—a memory you’ll never forget. - Cosy cabins and spacious group accommodation
Lapland offers a range of large cabins, chalets, and lodges perfect for groups. Enjoy evenings around a roaring fire, cook shared meals in a fully-equipped kitchen, or even relax in your own private sauna or outdoor hot tub. - Christmas magic (even without kids)
Lapland is the home of Santa, and even adult groups can enjoy the festive charm of visiting Santa’s Village, exploring snow-dusted Christmas markets, and soaking up the fairytale atmosphere that makes Lapland feel like a real-life snow globe. - Unique Arctic experiences
Why not try ice fishing, snowshoeing, or a group sauna followed by a dip in an ice-cold lake? Lapland’s unusual and invigorating activities are ideal for adventurous groups looking to try something totally new.
