About Crazy Reindeer Hotel

The Crazy Reindeer Hotel is a popular choice, having friendly service and a great range of rooms available. The hotel is in a quiet wooded location, around 400 metres from the ski lifts and Levi village centre, providing beautiful walks through this winter wonderland.

All of the rooms at the Crazy Reindeer are tastefully decorated in a simplistic Nordic style. Choose from a cosy room with a sauna or a family duplex which can sleep up to eight. Guest rooms are located in three adjacent buildings, which are just a short walk away from the main building. Each room has all the amenities needed for a relaxing break in Levi, including Wi-Fi, and some rooms have a sauna and balcony.

After a day of exploring Levi, warm up in front of one of the log fires in the cosy and welcoming public lounge, or relax in the popular bar area with a drink. Alternatively. rejuvenate in the wellness area, which features a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and cold water plunge pool. For the ultimate treat, book a massage or beauty treatment locally, or unwind in the salt room or infrared sauna, which is available for a local fee. There is also an on-site gym so you can prepare for your next Arctic adventure.

A hot and cold buffet breakfast is available each morning (Weekdays 7:30 - 10am and weekends 7.30 - 10.30am).

Each evening, you can enjoy a buffet-style three-course dinner, which is taken in the 'Taivas' Sky Restaurant. There is a wide choice of food available and this is usually open between 5pm - 8pm.

Crazy reindeer twin rooms are around 20m², sleeping 2-3 people. These rooms have twin beds, an additional single fold-out armchair bed, and a walk-in shower. Crazy Reindeer rooms are located in a separate building 150 metres from the main reception building.  

Flying reindeer twin rooms are around 22m² and sleep 2-3 people. These rooms have twin beds, with the third bed being a single fold-out armchair or roll-away bed, and a bathtub, shower, and a balcony.  Flying Reindeer rooms are located in the main reception building. These rooms are also available for sole occupancy.

White reindeer twin rooms are around 24m² and sleep 2-3 people. These rooms have twin beds - the third bed is a single fold-out armchair bed and a sauna. Located on the second floor of the main building, which is adjacent to the reception building and can be reached by an internal connection.

Family duplex rooms are around 32+12m² and sleep 2-5 people. These rooms have twin beds in the living area, an additional fold-out armchair bed, twin beds in the mezzanine with a sloping roof, an en-suite sauna, a shower, and a balcony. The rooms are located in a separate accommodation building, approximately 150 metres from the main building and reception. These rooms are on request, please call our Reservations team a call to book.

Family suites are around 47+30m² and sleep up to 5 adults and 2 children. The Family Suite is made up of a small double bedroom (120cm bed, suitable for one adult or two children), a twin bedroom, and twin beds in the mezzanine. There are two single sofa beds in the open-plan living area and kitchenette, two showers, two WC's, a drying closet, and a sauna. The room is located in a separate building with a connecting corridor to the main building.

Each room must have an adult booked, children are not allowed to stay in a room without being accompanied by an adult. All beds are twin beds that may be pushed together. 

Annexes

The Crazy Reindeer annex (150m from the main reception building) is where the Crazy Reindeer twin rooms and Family Duplexes are located. 

The main reception building is where the Flying Reindeer (Superior) twin rooms are located, and the White Reindeer twin rooms are connected internally to the main reception building.

Things to do in Levi

Head on an exhilarating adventure through Lappish nature on a snowmobile safari. The incredible scenery through the snow-covered forests, frozen fells and arctic lakes will take your breath away.

Duration: 2 hours (from resort)

  • All drivers must be 18 years+ and bring a full, valid photographic driver's licence with them to the excursion
  • Children must be aged 11 years or above and at least 140cm tall to ride as a passenger on a snowmobile; they must be able to touch the footrest when sitting on the snowmobile. Children under this height or aged 4- 10 years will be towed in a sled or pod behind the guide. It is not possible for infants (aged 0-3 years) to take part in this excursion.
  • Single riders who have purchased a sharing snowmobile may need to upgrade locally to a single driving snowmobile if a sharing snowmobile is not available.
Snowmobiles

A safari under the stars is an experience, and with a bit of luck, you may be able to spot nature's best show on earth, the Northern Lights. During the safari, you will be guided through the snow-covered forests to the best spot to catch this natural phenomenon. 

Duration: 2 hours (from resort)

Snowmobiles

Northern Light Stays

A quintessential part of your Lapland visit is to experience is a reindeer sleigh ride. Visit an authentic reindeer farm and learn all about the reindeer. You will then be taken on a serene sleigh ride through snowy forests, guided by a Sami guide and their reindeer. The visit includes a farm visit where you can learn about the reindeer.

Ice Activities

Speed across the specially designed ice track, surrounded by the stunning snow-covered landscapes of Levi. Whether you're a seasoned driver or a first-timer, ice karting offers an adrenaline-pumping challenge as you drift and race on the icy surface. Equipped with high-performance karts kitted out with studded tires and all the necessary safety gear, you'll race around the track feeling the adrenaline of winning the race.

Ice Activities

Ride through snow-laden forests and take in the serene Arctic scenery on this unforgettable journey—an ideal way to experience Lapland from a unique and tranquil perspective.

  • The beginner's group is for those who have never ridden a horse or have a small amount of riding experience
  • The advanced group is for confident, experienced riders, and children aged 7-12 years must have a good level of horse riding experience to take part
  • Beginner and advanced horse-riding sessions take place at different times. Guests of mixed abilities who wish to ride together should book the beginner excursion
  • All children must be accompanied by a participating adult when taking part in the excursion

Husky Rides

Step into the magical Lainio Snow Village, a true Arctic marvel made entirely out of snow and ice. Situated 200 km above the Arctic Circle, this extraordinary hotel is crafted each winter from over 400,000 kilos of ice and 45,000 cubic meters of snow. Every corner of the village is adorned with breathtaking carvings, from the beautifully designed rooms and courtyards to the mesmerising ice bar, restaurant, and Ice Chapel. Ice Activities

Discover the snowy trails of Levi in a thrilling and unique way with electric fat bikes. Designed with wide tires and adjustable electronic assistance, these bikes make it easy to navigate the diverse snowy terrain while soaking in the stunning, snow-covered landscapes. Along the way, you'll pause to enjoy a hot drink amidst the serene, picturesque surroundings.
