Walking in Lake Bohinj

Just a short trip from Ljubljana, Lake Bohinj sits in the heart of the Julian Alps and is perfect for peaceful walks with a side of culture. Stroll past local farms, meet cheese makers, or swap walking boots for a kayak and explore the water.
Want views? Take the cable car to Mt. Vogel or stretch your legs on the path to Savica Waterfall. For a gentle walk, follow the 1.5-hour route from Stara Fuzina to Srednja Vas, winding through charming villages and past historic spots. Up for a climb? The trail from St John’s church to Rudnica is steep but worth it - breathtaking lake views guaranteed.
Walking in Lake Bled

Lake Bled is a dream for walkers, with scenic trails circling the lake and plenty of viewpoints to take in its beauty. Ride a gondola to the island, climb Osojnica Hill for sweeping panoramas, or visit the dramatic Vintgar Gorge.
For the best views, hike up Ojstrica or Mala Osojnica, where you'll see Bled and the Julian Alps in all their glory. Prefer a gentler route? The stroll up to Straža offers great scenery without the steep climb.
A must-do is the Lake Bled Loop Trail - a relaxed walk with unbeatable views, cafés, and even a swimming spot. For a different perspective, head to Radovljica, a charming town 8 kilometres away, with a lovely riverside walk to get there.
Walking in Kranjska Gora

Kranjska Gora, tucked away in Slovenia’s northwest near the Austrian and Italian borders, is a picture-perfect base for exploring.
Stroll around Lake Jasna, wander the peaceful Zelenci Nature Reserve, or take on nearly 100km of trails across the Julian Alps and Karavankas mountains.

It’s a paradise for anyone who loves the great outdoors. Whether you're into cycling, fishing, canoeing, or just taking leisurely walks, Bovec has something for everyone. Ever seen those amazing scenes from "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian"? That's the River Soca in Bovec. It's like stepping into Narnia without leaving this world.
