About Hotel Savoy Edelweiss

Hotel Savoy Edelweiss is a charming, historic hotel in the centre of Sestriere, perfect for those who love traditional Italian style. With just 30 rooms, it offers an intimate, relaxed atmosphere and a warm mountain-style décor.

Dating back to 1936, the hotel retains its original charm with wood panelling, hand-painted furniture and retro alpine touches throughout. It’s a cosy and characterful base for your ski holiday.

The friendly staff are a highlight, always ready to help and ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. With its central location and authentic feel, Hotel Savoy Edelweiss is a great-value option in the heart of the resort.

Discover Sestriere

A purpose built resort that was constructed in the 1930s (and extended again in 2006 to host the Turin Winter Olympics), Sestriere has a modern and trendy feel to it, with a lively après-ski crowd that congregates in the popular bars and pubs around the town when the lifts close.

Sitting at the very heart of The Milky Way ski area in Italy, Sestriere and nearby Borgata are the perfect home base for those of us who truly love the mountains. Whether you’re a complete beginner, or a seasoned expert, The Milky Way ski area truly has something for us all.

With more than 400 kilometres of pistes to explore, there is plenty of skiing and snowboarding to be had in Sestriere and beyond, joining with Sauze d’Oulx, Claviere and Montgenèvre over the border in France. Your 6 day ski pass covers two days skiing on the French side but also one day in nearby ski resort of Bardonecchia, approximately 50 minutes away.

For anyone to claims that they love snow, then snowmobiling is a must. Drive on your own or take a passenger on the back, this is an exhilarating ride that takes you through the snowy mountain landscapes.

The Ice Park in Sestriere is fun for all levels and is a great alternative activity to skiing. Open 10am - 6pm (Times may differ on public holidays and Carnival) daily and costs approx. €7 entrance and €6 skate hire. Prices and times are a guide from the Ice Park and may be subject to change, contact your Destination Expert in resort for latest information.
