About Electra Apartments

Located in the Les Crozats area of Avoriaz, perched above the resort, the Electra Apartments enjoy uninterrupted and gorgeous views over the Morzine valley. The residence benefits from having direct ski in, ski out access to the slopes and resort centre, making it really easy and convenient to get on the slopes each day or enjoy the wonderful restaurants and bars Avoriaz has to offer.

The Electra Apartments have a fantastic location in Avoriaz, as well as having incredible views, the apartments have ski in, ski out access to the Portes du Soleil Ski Area which has over 650km of slopes with the full area lift pass- the piste takes you to the centre of Avoriaz where you can find a range of shops, bars and restaurants. For those not on skis or boards, there is an escalator which takes you down to the centre of the resort.

  • Avoriaz is traffic free and all transfers from the airport or the railway station arrive at the Welcome Centre. From here, our local team organise the snowcats that transfer guests and luggage to their accommodation.

The Electra Apartments are self catered apartments, food and drink is not included. On the days when you just don't feel like cooking, you have many options to choose from when it comes to dining in Avoriaz. There are plenty of restaurants in resort, whether you feel like classic French cuisine, pizza and pasta, or take away, there is something to suite every taste.  A bread and pastry breakfast delivery service is available to book locally, making your breakfast simple and convenient before hitting the slopes. .

The residence has a bakery delivery service available which can be booked and paid for locally. 

Alternatively, we've partnered up with Huski who provide premium oven ready meals across the French Alps. Huski will deliver your meals directly to your accommodation in time for your arrival, all you'll have to do is cook. If you'd like to know more, please click here for further details.

These bright apartments have a modern and colourful design throughout, all apartments have a balcony with either mountain or village views. The apartments are all fully furnished with an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. These apartments are suitable for both families who want self catered apartments in a central location.

One bedroom apartments can sleep two to four people and are around 30-39m². These apartments have a twin or double bedroom, and a living area with two day beds which includes one pull out bed (recommended for children).

Discover Avoriaz

The purpose built, snow sure resort of Avoriaz is the highest in the Portes du Soleil. appealing to skiers and boarders of all abilities with slopes such as the best blue run in the area, Abricotine, and Coupe du Monde being the best black run with great views.

Once you are on the mountain, the Stash snow park provides fun for the whole family, found between the trees in a reforestation zone. It's made up of different ability level snow parks built with dead untreated wood which has been collected locally, so it blends into the landscape. There's a wide choice of shops, restaurants and bars dotted around the resort, many of which serve local ingredients and French-origin products and most buildings are designed to conserve heat, and with the use of solar panels generate energy too.

Things to do in Avoriaz

Aquariaz swimming pool feels like a tropical haven, a thousand miles away from the Bahamas. The leisure centre has several different swimming areas including an indoor river, a sidewinder and themed children's area. It is the perfect place to spend an afternoon when it is just to snowy to go skiing.

Discover the coolest dining experience in Avoriaz, the Village Igloo. A unique ice grotto, bar, restaurant and mini hotel in Avoriaz, where can enjoy a traditional Savoyard meal in a spectacular setting.  Apart from having dinner in the igloo, the bar is open throughout the winter season, as is the hotel. It really is an unforgettable experience for everyone. Book and pay locally.

Acting as the taxi service in Avoriaz, there are plenty of horse-drawn sleighs around the town, and grabbing a trip from one end of Avoriaz to another is great fun for everyone of all ages! Pay locally.

There is a small ice rink in the middle of Avoriaz, lit up at night and you can hire your skates locally. This is a fantastic child-friendly activity that can be enjoyed even after the pistes close for the day. Pay locally. 

There is a two-lane bowling alley and arcade located in a subterranean complex on Place des Dromonts. It’s hard to miss the big ‘bowling’ sign out the front. Pay locally. 

Located in the centre of Avoriaz near the tourism office and ice skating rink, the small cinema has two screens and shows all of the national releases. Please note that some films will be voice dubbed in French. Pay locally.

For the thrill seekers out there, paragliding (or parapenting as the French say) is available in both Avoriaz and Morzine throughout the ski season for those who dare. 

You can take a guided ramble through the beautiful Alpine landscape with a pair of snowshoes. This relaxing activity is the perfect way to step back and enjoy a slower pace of things, explore the forests, spotting animals and breathing the fresh mountain air. There are even evening snowshoe walks to be enjoyed, so talk to your Inghams rep in resort if you fancy taking the mountains in at a different pace.
