About Hotel Levi Panorama

This excellent hotel is in an idyllic location at the top of Levi fell with wonderful, wide-reaching views over the ski slopes, and the nearby fells of Pallas and Kätkä. Overlooking the Levi Village, the hotel is easily accessible via the Levi Express Cabin lift, by stairs from the centre of the village or via road. 

You'll find plenty of space to relax and recuperate in the excellent public areas. Children can have a great time making new friends in the play area, while the adults can relax and enjoy a refreshing drink in the bar or slope-side café. After a day of skiing or exploring Levi, take some time to unwind and relax at the sauna- it's the perfect place to warm up and rejuvenate. In addition, there is a wonderful restaurant with incredible views of the slopes, where you can enjoy your half board meals. The menu is inspired by traditional Lappish cuisine and features locally sourced ingredients.

The Panorama's spacious, well-equipped rooms can accommodate additional beds, providing comfort for the entire family after a day of exploring Levi; we recommend the Superior rooms which have a balcony with resort views and also feature a drying closet, which is great for keeping your morning socks toasty. Alternatively, the popular apartments are furnished in a modern style, offering greater space, additional bedrooms and a private sauna - perfect for warming up in after a day of Arctic adventures. As we have different occupancy apartments, they are ideal for a group of family and friends looking for self-catered apartments in Lapland.

The Hotel Levi Panorama is on a half board basis.

A varied continental breakfast is served each day, with hot and cold options.

Each evening you can enjoy a varied three course buffet with a variety of starters, hot dishes, salad buffet, selection of desserts and after dinner tea/coffee.

A Festive Feast, a Christmas celebration meal with games and music, is included on the final night of your holiday. Please note that the Festive Feast will replace your last half-board dinner.

Board basis available: Half Board

Standard Rooms are around 28m² can sleep two to four people (recommended for three adults or two adults and two children) in twin beds, with a divan sofa bed which can be converted to two extra single beds for full occupancy. This room can be located on any floor and has a ski slope view. Standard rooms are also available for single occupancy at a supplement. 

Superior Rooms are around 33m² and can sleep two to four people (recommended for three adults or two adults and two children) in twin beds with a balcony. There is a divan sofa bed which can sleep either one adult or two children. Superior rooms can be located on any floor, facing the front hotel courtyard and have a drying closet. These rooms are also available for single occupancy at a supplement. 

Standard Suite are around 52m² and can sleep two to four people. These Suites have a twin bedroom and a living area with a double sofa bed which can sleep one adult or two children, and a French balcony (excluding some rooms on the 2nd floor) facing the courtyard and Kätkä fell.

All of the hotel rooms are located in the main building and are furnished in a modern style.

Panorama Apartments 

One Bedroom Apartments are around 45-50m² and can sleep two to five people. These apartments have one twin bedroom and an alcove with bunk beds (120cm double bed on the lower bunk and single bed on upper bunk - suitable for two adults or up to three children under 12yrs).

Two Bedroom Apartments are around 65m² sleeping three to six people. These apartments have two twin bedrooms plus a double sofa bed in the living room (suitable for one adult or two children).

Things to do in Levi

Get ready for an unforgettable journey through the winter wonderland of Lapland! Hop on a snowmobile and glide across sparkling snow-covered forests, frozen hills, and glistening arctic lakes - the breathtaking scenery will leave you in awe. 

Duration: 2 hours (from resort)

  • All drivers must be 18 years+ and bring a full, valid photographic driver's licence with them to the excursion
  • Children must be aged 11 years or above and at least 140cm tall to ride as a passenger on a snowmobile; they must be able to touch the footrest when sitting on the snowmobile. Children under this height or aged 4- 10 years will be towed in a sled or pod behind the guide. It is not possible for infants (aged 0-3 years) to take part in this excursion.
  • Single riders who have purchased a sharing snowmobile may need to upgrade locally to a single driving snowmobile if a sharing snowmobile is not available.

 

Snowmobiles

Set off on a magical evening snowmobile adventure through Lapland’s winter wonderland. With snow glistening under the starry sky, your guide will lead you along snowy trails and through enchanted forests to the best spots to search for the breathtaking Northern Lights.

Drivers can take turns behind the handlebars, swapping halfway so everyone gets to enjoy the thrill of driving. Midway through the safari, you’ll stop at a cozy, festive café to warm up with a hot cup of berry juice and a tasty treat, surrounded by the sparkle of Lapland’s Christmas magic.

  • All drivers must be 18 years+ and bring a full, valid photographic driver's licence with them to the excursion.

Glide past snow-laden trees and across vast, glittering tundras, with every turn revealing a postcard-perfect Christmas scene straight from a storybook. Once your enchanting journey comes to an end, cozy up by an open fire with a warm cup of berry juice and listen to heartwarming tales about the incredible huskies who made this magical ride possible.

  • Guests must be 18+ and in good physical fitness to drive the husky sled
  • Children younger than 4 can only take part in the 2km husky safari or combined husky & reindeer safari
Husky Rides

Embark on a truly magical Arctic adventure with an evening husky safari through Levi’s snowy wilderness. Sit back and relax in a cosy sled as a skilled guide leads a team of enthusiastic huskies along a scenic 10km trail under the starlit sky. With a bit of luck, the Northern Lights may appear overhead, casting their spell across the night sky — a breathtaking sight you’ll never forget.

  • Children must be aged 7 years+ to take part in this activity
Husky Rides

Discover the beauty of Lapland on a peaceful horseback trek with calm and dependable Finn horses. Both beginner and intermediate options are available, with a short introduction provided to help first-time riders feel comfortable, and a slightly more adventurous route for those with riding experience.

Ride through snow-laden forests and take in the serene Arctic scenery on this unforgettable journey—an ideal way to experience Lapland from a unique and tranquil perspective.

Duration: 2.5 hours (from resort), 1.5 hours riding 

  • The beginner's group is for those who have never ridden a horse or have a small amount of riding experience
  • The advanced group is for confident, experienced riders, and children aged 7-12 years must have a good level of horse riding experience to take part
  • Beginner and advanced horse-riding sessions take place at different times. Guests of mixed abilities who wish to ride together should book the beginner excursion
  • All children must be accompanied by a participating adult when taking part in the excursion
Horse Rides

Experience the magic of Lapland with a peaceful horse-drawn sleigh ride through Levi’s enchanting snow-covered forest. Ice Activities

Step into a winter wonderland at the mystical Lainio Snow Village, located 200km above the Arctic Circle. Rebuilt each winter from over 400,000 kilos of ice and 45,000 cubic metres of snow, this impressive hotel features beautifully sculpted rooms, courtyards, an ice bar, restaurant, and even an Ice Chapel. Intricate carvings and designs inspired by Nordic mythology make each year's creation unique, offering a new experience every time you visit.

  • Available from mid-December onwards. Visits that are booked before the public opening date may not be have a completed Village to see. You will be able to have a more 'behind the scenes' visit and maybe see the artists working. The completion of the Snow Village is weather-dependent.

Northern Light Stays

An opportunity for guests who have never skied before to try the wonderful world of skiing. Conditions are ideal for learning to ski with quiet slopes and friendly English-speaking instructors. The ski taster starts at beginner slopes at South Point, about 10-20 minutes by ski bus from Levi centre. Buses run every 15 minutes.
