About Adler Spa Resort Dolomiti

The Adler Spa Resort Dolomiti is luxurious in every sense of the word. Everyone here will go out of their way to make sure you have the most enjoyable stay possible. The spa is out of this world.

This is the place to be if you want to get out and explore the Dolomites. You’ve got access to the hotel’s e-bikes for free so grab one and set off up the mountain. You could also join a free guided tour with an e-bike from Monday to Saturday. You’ll be with an experienced guide and get to see some of the best trails in the area. There are guided hikes too, which run every day except Sunday, and Nordic hikes a couple of times a week. If you’re travelling with your family, the kids club is great. It's run by experienced staff and has plenty to keep children entertained all day. It’s free to use but you might need to pre-book.

We love exploring the village of Ortisei, it’s got a real alpine charm about it. The hotel’s right in the centre so head out for a quick walk before dinner if you can. It might be hard to tear yourself away from the hotel though – the gardens are incredibly relaxing with lots of space to spread out and fantastic views. Lots of people head to the hotel just for its spa and it’s not hard to see why. We challenge anyone to come away from here and not feel like a brand new person.

Discover Ortisei

  • Hop on the Seceda Gondola and discover hundreds of walking trails
  • Scope out traditional wood carved sculptures in the town
  • Learn some of the local dialect, Ladin

Ortisei – or Urtijëi, as it’s better known in the local language of Ladin – is a Tyrolean town in the heart of the Val Gardena. This is a community that’s forged Olympic bobsledders, skiers and figure skaters – outdoorsy folk who don’t stop just because the snow has melted off the mountains. Instead, they spend their summers on the walking and cycling paths. On you summer holiday in Ortisei, you’ll be welcomed by a close-knit community, famous for its woodcarving tradition – who will take any excuse for a get-together in one of the many cafés and bars.

Things to do in Ortisei

If you want an adventure- why not try out Via Ferrata on your holiday? The area has a variety difficulty levels available. If this is something you're interested in, we'd recommend booking a guide as they will take you on a Via Ferrata suited to your level.

Selva's and Ortisei are a paradise for bikers with a huge network of trails to suit all levels. E-biking has become increasingly popular, offering a fun and accessible way to explore the stunning Dolomite landscapes. Ride through lush meadows, navigate forest paths, or conquer mountain roads that wind through the valleys. Why not head for the freeride trails or stick with the gentle winding routes on the family line- both are fun. Best of all the lifts take you to the top of the runs, so all you need to do is enjoy the ride down.

If you fancy trying out e-biking, tackle the hills and cruise along valley paths with the help of an electric motor, giving you the time to take in the mountain views. It doesn’t get much better than an e-bike tour of mountain huts, or 'rifugi' as they call them. This is also a great way of combining outdoor adventure with local food and wine.

With plenty of routes for all abilities, from leisurely cycles to more challenging terrain, cycling in Selva and Ortisei is a perfect way to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region.
