About Hotel Post

An Ischgl favourite, the Hotel Post offers top facilities and excellent service. Situated in the picturesque town centre, it's just a few minutes walk to the Silvretta gondola, making for easy access to the mountains around. Alpine-chic rooms are tastefully designed with comfort in mind and meals are delicious, offering the chance to taste regional specialities created using seasonal produce.

A luxurious 1,500-square-metre spa is a haven of relaxation, with indoor and outdoor pools, nine saunas, a steam room, and calming relaxation areas. Join a daily sauna infusion with the Sauna Master (subject to availability), visit the gym, or take part in yoga or meditation. Outside, sun loungers by the pool and gardens offer the perfect spot to enjoy the views.

There's plenty of activities on offer here with a programme of walks with a professional guide, a weekly Nordic walking lesson, and a weekly fitness programme. You can even get discounts on bike rental (including e-bikes), and borrow a rucksack and walking poles from reception (subject to availability).

At 1,500 square metres, the hotel's spa is wellness heaven. There's an indoor & outdoor pool, nine different saunas, a steam room, and a lovely relaxation area. Sun loungers surround the beautiful outside pool and gardens which are a lovely way to admire the surrounding views.

You'll dine in style at the Hotel Post, with fine dining from breakfast until dinner. The buffet breakfast includes hot and cold options. Local dishes, regional delicacies, and a vitality corner with seasonal organic produce will set you up for the day.

In the evenings, you'll be treated to a gourmet four-course dinner with choice of main dish (including a vegetarian option) and a salad buffet. Once a week the hotel also hosts a gala dinner where you can enjoy a welcome drink, gala menu, live music and a great atmosphere.

Packed lunches are available to buy locally for around €8.50 per person, per day - please order with reception.

Bar 67 was given three 'glasses' and 91 points by Falstaff magazine (an international magazine dedicated to food, wine and travel) so you know it's definitely worth stopping by for a drink. You can expect incredible cocktails and views of the night sky, and you have to try the Ischgl gin.

Ursprung racks up yet more points from Falstaff magazine and is the hotel's à la carte restaurant and wine bar. With the terrace renowned as Ischgl's sunniest spot, it's a great place for an outstanding lunch.

The Wine Shop has been developed with carefully selected wines from Austrian growers. If you find your tipple of choice among their incredible collection of wines you can buy a bottle to take home.

Family rooms are around 45m² and sleep three to four people. These rooms will either be a spacious Postmeister room with additional double sofa bed, or a family room with an Austrian Twin bed and a separate room with two single sofa beds. They will have an en-suite with shower.

Postello or Postmeister single rooms are spacious at around 19-22m². These rooms have a French bed and an en-suite with shower. (Allocation of Postello or Postmeister is subject to availability and allocated on arrival).

For climbers, Ischgl is a fantastic central location to visit with easy access via public transport to indoor bouldering centres at either the Alpinarium Galtür or Boulder Gym Flirsch. Book a rafting tour, grab your paddle and head out on a wild adventure on the local rivers with a guide to explore the stunning scenery from a new point of view. Ischgl is a biking paradise with 1,000 kilometres of trails for all skill levels, from mountain biking to leisurely rides through scenic valleys and alpine terrain. With lift access to higher altitudes, you can explore new routes and even cycle into Switzerland for more adventure. Ischgl is the perfect place to combine action, stunning scenery, and cycling thrills.

The 'Ischgl Trailground' riding technique park is a great place to practice, and with the Silvretta Premium Card you get one free ride on each lift with your bike per day (or purchase the Bike Unlimited pass to get more runs on each lift).

Discover the history of the cableways at the Silvrettaseilbahn AG cable car company within the technological museum. If art is your thing, the seven-kilometre circular art trail and Mathias-Schmid museum provide an insight of the artists life through incredible display boards.

Ischgl Vider Truja

Located at 2,320 metres altitude, a short walk from the Silvrettabahn A1 or Fimbabahn A3 lifts, the Vider Truja adventure park is full of exciting things for the children and there's the lake and Kneipp facilities which are perfect for cooling the feet after a hike.

From bouldering towers for older children, to adventure-trails and trampolines for the younger ones. This recreational ground covers a large area, amazing for children to run around while parents get comfy and supervise from one of the wooden loungers.

Zoom down the two-kilometre mountain zipline at 85 kilometres an hour. Fly through the valley together as you race your friends or family. Three minutes of flying at 50 metres above the ground will definitely be something the children remember. It's open Tuesday to Sunday and you can use your included Silvretta Premium Card to get a discounted rate on this wild adventure.

Adventure Stage Ischgl

If you have younger children, head to the adventure stage at the Lake Schwarzwasser and Lake Pardatschersee which has stone, wood and rope installations along beautiful nature trails. Wander through the forest and along the lake shores, experiencing constant action and highlights for the kids to burn some energy. Climb, balance, slide and jump your way through the interactive obstacles along the way to add an exciting element to your walk.

Dip your toes in the lake to cool off or take the full plunge and go for a swim. The bathing lake in See is surrounded purely by nature and a range of senses for the younger ones to explore. From shallow children's area to rocky beach areas, this natural leisure area is full of fun for the whole family. There's also an adventure playground and a kiosk selling light refreshments.

Minigolf Ischgl

With 18 holes, the mini-golf in Ischgl is a great hit for families with younger children. Located in Trisannaweg you can take a leisurely stroll from the village centre. Grab an ice cream from the kiosk to celebrate the winner at the end. You can also find beach volleyball and trampolines at this active centre too, great for children and adults alike.
