About Hotel Les Melezes

The Hotel Les Mélèzes is run by the Dode family who have been welcoming guests since 1968, they are renowned for their hospitality and will be sure to make you feel welcome. The hotel has great facilities such as a lovely wellness area to come back to after a day on the slopes, making this an ideal choice for a ski holiday.

This chalet-style hotel combines comfort and cosiness, with the careful use of wood and warm colours inspired by the surroundings, creating a designer-style atmosphere and cosy ambience. Each room is uniquely decorated in a contemporary Alpine style, and are well equipped for everything you need for a relaxing stay in the Alps.

The Hotel Les Mélèzes is ideally located in the centre of Les 2 Alpes at the bottom of the piste, perfect for keen skiers and boarders who want to get onto the fabulous Les Deux Alpes slopes first thing. Returning to the hotel is equally as easy, plus there is a heated boot room so you can easily store all your equipment at the end of the day. As the hotel has a central location, the resort facilities, shops, bars and restaurants are only short walk away.

After a day of exploring the slopes, head back to the hotel and make the most of the hotels own wellness area. To fully unwind, massages and treatments are available to book locally.

Standard rooms sleep two people and are around 14m². These rooms are simple and have traditional décor with north facing views of the village. These rooms are also available for single occupancy, please give our Reservations team a call to book.

Traditional rooms sleep two or three people and are around 19m². These modern style alpine rooms have two or three single beds, and south-facing views overlooking the slopes.

Family comfort rooms sleep two to four people and are around 26m². These cosy traditional style rooms have a double or twin bed, plus additional bunk beds. These rooms have south-facing views, a minimum of four people during Christmas, New Year and February French school holiday periods. 

Superior cosy double rooms sleep two people and are around 17m². These rooms have been renovated in a traditional Alpine style, each room has a balcony with south-facing views overlooking the Muzelle glacier.

Junior suites sleep two people and are around 33-46m². These rooms vary in appearance, some of these bedrooms have a traditional style while others have a more modern style, These rooms have a seating area and varying views of either the village or slopes. These rooms are on a request basis only, please call our Reservations team to book.

Discover Les 2 Alpes

Les 2 Alpes stretches along a spectacular valley which has developed into a popular ski resort from its original mountain origins, with magnificent scenery which can be enjoyed from the top of the glacier. The après ski is lively with an impressive number of shops, bars, restaurants and animated nightlife. The whole resort lies alongside the main pistes so you are never far from one of the many lifts. Les 2 Alpes is a snow-sure mountain resort with over 225 kilometres of slopes - 70% of these slopes being over 2000 metres in altitude, so throughout the season you'll be guaranteed natural snow.

Things to do in Les 2 Alpes

The local sport centre will keep you occupied when there are white out days, have a game of badminton, tennis, volleyball or basketball or head up the indoor climbing wall. Payable locally. 

Enjoy skating on the artificial ice rink located in the centre of Les 2 Alpes free of charge with your six day lift pass. On two evenings the ice rink is reserved for 'Ice Gliding' (bumper cars on ice). Skate and ice glider hire is an additional cost and is payable locally. 

Ski under the stars in Les 2 Alpes. Each week, the Lutins button lift stays open so you can carrying on skiing after the rest of the lifts have shut for the day. It is an excellent experience for intermediate skiers and boarders. You don't need to pay extra for this, it is included with a valid lift pass. 

Swap your skis or board for a toboggan and whiz down one of the four dedicated toboggan runs near the base of the slopes. Although the runs are predominantly designed for children, adults can have a go on selected evenings. 

if you are after a fun activity after ski activity, head to Le Strike Bowling Alley for a game or two. The bowling alley also has arcade games, a football table, billiards and a bar to keep you entertained. 

High up on the Roche Mantel glacier, you can go down 30m under to the magical ice caves and marvel at the hand carved ice sculptures created each year. 

If you don't ski or fancy a day off from skiing, hire some snowshoes locally and wander the snowy landscapes on foot.
