About Romantik Hotel

The historic Romantik Hotel dates back to the 15th century and is set on the edge of Zell am See's medieval pedestrianised centre and close to the lake. Full of charm and attractive traditional features, it has a warm and welcoming feel provided by the Hörl family.

The Hörl family offers the best of Austrian hospitality. The photographs and mementoes on the hotel's walls tell a tale of the four generations who have offered excellent service to their guests. Spend some time in the rustic bar and lounge area soaking in the cosy, welcoming atmosphere.

After a day exploring the slopes there is nothing better than coming back for a dip in the pool. The two-story wellness area includes everything you need to relax and rejuvenate including a Finnish sauna, Swiss pine bio sauna, salt team bath, infrared cabin, relaxation lounge, and jacuzzi.

Pinzgauer and Pinzgauerin twin rooms are 30m² with a bath or shower. They have a balcony and seating or lounge area and can sleep up to three using a single sofa bed.

Gardensuite Austrian twin rooms are around 30m² and located in the adjacent "Landhaus" annexe which is connected to the main building via underground corridor. These rooms sleep two to four people (extra bed is a sofa bed). They have a balcony, seating area, and an ensuite with shower.

The Freizeitzentrum Zell Am See and indoor swimming pool are located in Zell am See, next to the ice rink. The adventure pool, slide and diving tower inspire both big and small guests. You can relax in the spa area, with various types of sauna and infrared cabin.

If you'd prefer to venture more 'off piste' snowshoeing is the best option as you'll be wading through fresh snow so you get to decide your own path to take.

Not only is Zell am See home to the world's longest toboggan run, but you'll even find and all-year round toboggan run in the region - The Maisi Flitzer.

The snow park in Zell am See, located on the Schmittenhöhe, offers a diverse setup with butter boxes, wave boxes, kickers, and rails. It's perfect for both beginners and advanced riders to practice and hone their freestyle skills. The park is adjacent to the Funslope XXL, providing additional fun and challenges for snowboarders and skiers alike.
