The welcoming Hotel Lebzelter is an authentic Austrian hotel with an excellent central location and homely décor.

The brightly coloured hotel is located just 300m from the city Xpress gondola, and 200m from the ski bus stop in the heart of Zell am See’s pedestrianised centre. Find shopping, cafés and après ski bars right on your doorstep.

For Winter 2025/26, the hotel is available on both bed and breakfast or the option to upgrade to half board, served 5 days of the week. Christmas and New Year catering days off will be Monday & Tuesday. The rest of the season the catering days off are Wednesday & Thursday.

On the catering days off, guests can enjoy on of the many local restaurants serving up everything from regional and international dishes to holiday favourites such as pasta and pizza.

  • Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast with scrambled eggs/omelette each morning.
  • On half board upgrade dinner is either a buffet or served four course meal with choice of main.
  • Please note, some hotels can charge for tap water or may only offer bottled water at an applicable charge.

The Freizeitzentrum Zell Am See and indoor swimming pool are located in Zell am See, next to the ice rink. The adventure pool, slide and diving tower inspire both big and small guests. You can relax in the spa area, with various types of sauna and infrared cabin.

The Tauern Spa is just a few minutes drive from Zell am See. On an area of over 20,000m² you will find a fabulous spa complex with over 13 saunas, steam baths and much more. There are also 20 pools in the Tauern Spa, offering sensational views of the surrounding mountains around the Kitzsteinhorn.

Lake Zell freezes over in winter and turns into a breathtakingly beautiful ice rink. Glide around in stunning natural surroundings, or grab a stick and play some ice hockey.

If the winter is too warm for safe ice skating on Lake Zell, then lace up your skates at the resort's indoor rink.

Take a guided tour through untouched snowy forests and mountain sides, exploring areas even the skiers and snowboarders don't get to see. Winter hiking and snowshoeing allows you to discover the landscape and experience it at your own pace. The winter hiking trails around Zell am See are all cleared and well sign posted. If you'd prefer to venture more 'off piste' snowshoeing is the best option as you'll be wading through fresh snow so you get to decide your own path to take.

Tobogganing is an essential part of all ski holidays, regardless of age. All around Zell am See there are several excellently groomed toboggan runs for you to race down with friends and family. Not only is Zell am See home to the world's longest toboggan run, but you'll even find and all-year round toboggan run in the region - The Maisi Flitzer.

The snow park in Zell am See, located on the Schmittenhöhe, offers a diverse setup with butter boxes, wave boxes, kickers, and rails. It's perfect for both beginners and advanced riders to practice and hone their freestyle skills. The park is adjacent to the Funslope XXL, providing additional fun and challenges for snowboarders and skiers alike.
