Discover Kitzbuhel

In Kitzbühel you’ll have an attractive medieval town, perfectly prepared pistes and modern lifts with heated seats. You can’t get enough of the spectacular mountains that extend for miles.

The Hahnenkamm lift is where you’ll access the Kitzbühel Alps for a large variety of runs. You’ll find the Hahnenkamm Streif, the Ski World Cup’s most famous downhill run. It’s used in January for the Ski World Cup, attracting visitors from all over the world. You’ll need to be very experienced, at least if you try it from the top.

You’ll have the option of the less crowded Kitzbüheler Horn, on the opposite side of the valley. Great for a warm up ski, before tackling the daring runs in the afternoon. Beginners will enjoy the snow park here and there are plenty of marked trails for freeriders and snowboarders.

Kitzbühel offers excellent cross-country skiing with 70 km of groomed trails suitable for all skill levels. The trails traverse beautiful meadows and high Tyrolean mountains, providing a scenic and enjoyable experience. Highlights include the floodlit trail at the Kitzbühel Schwarzsee-Reith golf course, which is illuminated until 9:30pm daily.

Night skiing in Kitzbühel is a thrilling experience, with the Gaisberg slope offering extended hours on Thursdays and Fridays. The Gaisberg lift in Kirchberg stays open later from 18:30 to 21:30, allowing you to enjoy skiing the slopes under the stars.
