Hotel Mareo, run by the welcoming Clara family, is known for its warm hospitality and excellent service. The alpine-style décor, featuring light natural wood, creates a calm and cosy atmosphere throughout. Each room has a private balcony, offering stunning views, and the hotel’s position means the Dolomites are always in sight.

After a day on the slopes, the heated outdoor pool is the perfect place to unwind while soaking up the mountain scenery. It’s a unique way to experience the beauty of the region, even in winter.

The Hotel Mareo enjoys a peaceful location set back from the San Vigilio di Marebbe centre. Getting around is really easy. The resort centre is only a five minute walk away and the hotel runs a free shuttle to the lifts, which are about 800 metres away. You can store you ski gear here too. Whether you are enjoying the views from your balcony or relaxing in the pool, the wonderful views of the village and mountain peaks surround the hotel.

Meals at the hotel are something to look forward to. The chef creates some amazing South Tyrolean dishes using local produce. 

  • Each morning you can fuel up for the day at the extensive breakfast buffet with alpine cheeses, local meats, pastries and homemade cakes.
  • When you return from a day on the slopes enjoy evening meals served in the light and bright dining room with views overlooking the meadows - you can look forward to a four course menu often featuring tasty local dishes and classic Mediterranean offerings.

Kronplatz, is part of the famous South Tyrol and the Dolomiti Superski area and is known for its modern lifts, guaranteed snow and breath-taking 360º views of the Dolomite Mountains. San Vigilio, the village where our hotels are located, is to the south of Kronplatz and is a pretty Ladin village that blends modern chic with old customs and traditions.
