About Chalet Kapall (Mountain Lodge)

Chalet Kapall is part of the Mountain Lodge development in the popular Gastig area of St. Anton and is available to book exclusively as well as room by room.

Mountain Lodge chalets have been specially designed to Inghams' specifications and finished to a high standard. The development consists of four modern ski chalets with a shared wellness area and small swimming pool.

Wellness facilities

The four Mountain Lodge chalets share an excellent wellness area. The small indoor swimming pool with whirlpool jets is the perfect place to chill out after a day on the slopes.

Family facilities

Children 11 years and under are welcome in the chalet on any date where one group books the entire chalet for their exclusive use. Otherwise children are allowed on peak dates only. Please see our chalet page for more information. For Winter 2025/26 these dates are:

The chalet is located a 15 minute walk downhill to the resort centre. We have arranged with our ski and board hire partner that all pre-booked skis and boots can be left at the shop just next to the lifts, leaving you free to return to the chalet or stop at one of St Anton’s renowned après ski venues in the centre of the resort.

There is a free ski bus stop just 300 metres from the chalet, giving easy access to the main Galzig and Rendl lifts in less than 5 minutes. A regular night bus service is also available at minimal local cost.

Our catered chalets mean there is no need to worry about a shopping trip whilst on holiday, as you will be looked after by us from arrival right to departure.

Accessibility

The chalet has a lift to Chalet Kapall's first floor. The Chalet's common areas and Room 1 are accessible by lift. 

Breakfast 

A continental buffet breakfast is available on 7 mornings of your holiday. There’ll be a selection of cereals, bread and pastries, jams and spreads, local cheeses and charcuterie, yogurts and fresh fruits. We have a coffee machine in each chalet, along with teas, infusions, hot chocolates and fruit juices.

For 6 mornings of your holiday there’s a classic full cooked breakfast available, starting from 8am. Your hosts will take an order from you and get it prepared ahead of your big day on the slopes. Options include free range eggs, sausages, bacon, halloumi, mushrooms and tomatoes. 

Afternoon tea 

A fresh cake will be baked and ready for your return from the slopes, 6 days of the week. Perfect to pair with the selection of teas, hot chocolate and coffee, that are in your chalet for you whenever you fancy.  

Evening meal 

A 4-course set menu will be cooked and served by your chalet hosts on 6 evenings of your holiday. You’ll start your evening with an aperitif and nibbles, where we have a choice of Prosecco, beer and soft drinks. 

The evening set menu has been designed to incorporate a variety of different cuisines, including classic French, Asian, Italian, Austrian and British dishes. One evening the menu will be a delicious regional dish, from the area you are staying in. 

After each homemade dessert there’s a selection of cheeses with fresh bread, crackers and chutney, along with coffee, tea or infusions. 

There will be special celebration menus on Christmas Day & New Year's Eve. 

Wine and drinks 

During your evening meal guests can indulge in our carefully selected complimentary local wines, which consists of a choice of 3 red, 3 white and 1 rosé. All of the wines have been carefully chosen to pair well with the menu and cater to all tastes.

For those guests that don’t drink wine, there is a selection of beer (both with and without alcohol), sparkling mineral water and soft drinks.

The Museum St. Anton am Arlberg, housed in the historic Villa Trier, offers a captivating journey through the region's rich skiing heritage. The museum's permanent exhibition traces the evolution of skiing in the Arlberg region, from its early days to its status as a world-renowned ski destination. Highlights include vintage ski equipment, personal stories of skiing legends, and interactive displays that showcase the technological advancements in winter sports. The museum also delves into the broader history of St. Anton, exploring its transformation from a small alpine village to a hub of winter tourism.

Visitors can enjoy the museum's serene alpine parkland setting and dine at the Museum Restaurant-Café, which offers a refined atmosphere and a menu inspired by local cuisine.

The historic ski show in St. Anton am Arlberg, titled “Schneetreiben – The Snow Must Go On”, is a captivating multimedia performance that showcases the evolution of skiing through the decades. Held every Wednesday evening from mid January to early April, at the Karl Schranz Zielstadion, the 45-minute show begins at 9pm and is free to attend. The event features dynamic ski demonstrations, light effects, and a spectacular fireworks finale, transforming the slope into a massive screen that illustrates the sport's history.
